The infamous Porsche Turbo coped from the very first series that appeared in 1975 with criticism that before the turbo or turbos 'kicked in' the car seemed an ordinary 911. Only when large amounts of burned mixture went through the turbo the car would 'explode'. Every evolution would for its time offer explosive acceleration, yet joint with a turbolag not to everyone's liking. With the arrival of the 997 Turbo Porsche offered a solution in form of Variable Turbine Geometry. A technique used and proved effective in the diesel industry for a long time. Simply put, the angle of the blades within the turbos change with the number of revolutions, making it so that under low rpm turbo power is still available. As such the turbolag disappeared. Full power is readily available at 1950 rpm. And naturally the absolute power increased, again. To keep all of this safe on the road, the 997 Turbo has four wheel drive, this time combined with advanced and clever systems such as PSM, PTM and PASM. The meaning of these terms I would enjoy to explain personally during a viewing of this powerhouse. What they do, and from experience. This 997 Turbo was ordered by its first owner without consulting his asset manager. Even the light up Turbo logos in the sills option was ticked, a 700 euro option. The first owner spent 30k on options which are now more or less presented to you. Even the centre console and the panel surrounding the satellite navigation are dressed in leather. Interesting option is the Sport Chrono Package which gives a temporary(10sec) overboost and 60Nm extra torque. The complete service history, special colouration, low milage, vast option list and price tag make this 997 Turbo undoubtedly one of the best that is for sale at the moment.
As mentioned before, very well equipped; automatic climate control, Porsche Communication Management with DVD Navigation and BOSE speakerset with subwoofer, fully electric adjustable sport seats with memory and configurable lumbar support, electric sunroof, Parc Distance Control front and rear, Sport Chrono Package, multifunctional steering wheel with radio controller and Tiptronic-S linking, board computer, third windshield wiper, Porsche Stability Management, Porsche Active Suspension Management, Xenon lights, Cruise control, light up Turbo logos in the sills etc.
Faultless and damage free body. Completely in first paint. Comes in achingly pretty and rare Ruby Red Metallic. No significant traces of usage. Unique to this Turbo is the double stitched leather throughout the complete interior. Even the centre console, sun vizors and PCM console are all dressed in leather. As good as new original Porsche floor mats in the footwells. Naturally never been smoked in. Switches, levers, seats, floor, carpet, door cards, etc. all undamaged and in conformity with the low milage.
