Shortly after her launch, the Ferrari 458 Italia quickly began winning awards from the world’s leading car magazines, including Sportsauto, World Performance, Supercar - and Best Car of the Year. The 458 also marked a huge leap forward for Ferrari, and one that left the competition far behind. And not only in terms of numbers, as there is a select group of other cars in this segment that also offer such performance. For the Ferrari 458 Italia, it is the combination of the spectacular acceleration and sprints times, and the unique experience of the 458, that render her supreme. Moreover, she is powered by Ferrari’s last atmospheric V8 engine, and, certainly in terms of the engine sound, no Turbo engine stands a chance against I - for proof, one need only read the complaints of people attending Formula 1 races. The 127hp per liter engine capacity, the shifting times, the E-Diff3, F1 Traction Control, ceramic brakes, electronically adjustable shock absorbers, and possibility of setting the parameters of the various electronic systems, render this a racing car for the public roads. All the various options reveal the superior craftsmanship and expertise of the Ferrari engineers who worked on the 458: the car is equally a smooth, comfortably suspended 'cruiser' as she is a predator. Extremely fast and agile, beautiful and irresistible. The design, both inside and out, received nearly as much praise at the time as what many people had deemed the last beautiful V8, the F355. Accordingly, the 458 also won design awards. The rpm range (9000rpm) - the timely upshifting indicated in red LED's in the steering wheel - is shown in a large, centrally positioned tachometer, further marking this as a car with the DNA of a true sports car. It seems that only in Maranello do they know how to create butterflies in one’s stomach whenever getting behind the wheel. Regardless of how good the alternatives might be, a dynamic and exciting relationship is always best, right? To the max!
Everything that improves the performance of the ultimate sports car, and desired control, is on board the 458. Any extra addition that also rendered the performance a somewhat more comfortable experience was grudgingly permitted, as every kilo counts. Equipped with automatic climate control, power windows, central door lock, an integrated multimedia audio system, Parc distance control and premium sport seats (also comfortable for larger drivers).
This body of this 458 Italia is wholly original; it is therefore an entirely damage-free car in its first paint. The various anti-stone-chipping stickers are properly present everywhere. No signs of wear anywhere. The paint quality is perfect, with a fine deep shine to the Nero Daytona Metallic. The bumpers are flawless. A car salesman could only describe this 458 as 'like new'.
The interior of this 458 Italia looks like it just left the factory yesterday. Smooth, soft black leather on the perfectly supportive sports seats, dashboard and door panels, tight and with beautiful double-stitching everywhere. No damaged knobs or switches. The carpeting is original and pristine. As is not often the case with other Ferraris, everything here is 'untouched'.
Gorgeous and spectacular, manifest in the 570hp V8 engine under the gleaming hood. Such a gem of an engine must be seen to be believed, exuding the style and look a genuine car lover’s car. Flawless. The amazingly spacious trunk has seemingly never been used; you will likely be the first to go on vacation in this car. The 20-inch wheels are also flawless. All four Pirelli P-Zero's were recently renewed.
Sold new in 2011 by Ferrari dealer, Samocar, in Rome. Thanks to our good contacts there, I was able to acquire this 458 from the first owner before he could trade her in. This is a Ferrari aficionado’s car, as it should be, never damaged and wholly original, verifiably dealer maintained and comes with all original documentation and keys. Was fully serviced by the dealership just 800km ago. A flawless sports car.
